Racal Communications, Inc was the US subsidiary of RACAL UK created to compete for US DOD contracts.
Their one major US success, the RA-6790 later re-emerged as the Harris R-590A (RA-2368), which was also successful.
Racal manufactured Regco equipment for Ralph Grimm under contract, until Grimm passed away. Then Racal purchased Regco.
