Ling-Temco-Vought was an airplane manufacturer that built some of the specialized planes used for SIGINT and ELINT missions. They were a systems intergrator and subcontracted the construction of the radios to more experienced companies. Radios collected by hobbyists and commonly referred to as LTV were actually made by Communication Electronics, Inc, Nems-Clarke, Collins Radio and Watkins-Johnson.
